Have you golfed all around the globe yet? There are so many great courses that you have not even imagined yet. Some of them have special themes and attractions. There are golf packages that include fishing, yoga, or meditation classes. Of course many packages also include golf classes, competitions and tournaments as well as other attractions.
In order to get all of this for free, the key is strategic planning. Of course not every resort will offer free stay or golf but there are many that will give you a free golfing vacation package depending on specific conditions.
The planning begins with becoming the group leader of a golfing group of at least 16 or more players. After doing this, search for the best golf vacation package companies, to find those with the best group rates to go with your golf group vacation budget. Tell the agent that you are the group leader of a large golfing group of 16 players or more and that you want to make group course reservations. Of course tell the agent that you will only be making these reservations if your own golf and stay are free. Most agents will be happy to do this because they still have 15 or more of your group paying.
Always look out for hidden golf fees like paying for golf carts or caddy. Make sure to ask if these fees will be waved for yourself because of the package deal you have made. If they say it will not be included, then the negotiation begins. Either that, or find a different package at another company.
Learn all you can about the local market of any place you are about to vacation in. Be sure to know the distance between your hotel and the golf courses you will be playing at. If the distance is too far, it may be more economical to vacation at a resort that has closer courses. The package isn't going to pay for the gas in your rental car or cab fare.
